Single Origin - Guatemala
Natural Process - Fruity - Different
Roast
This wonderful single origin from Guatemala is nothing like the rest in our product range, and we love it because of that.
What's different about it? It's very sweet and fruity, with a complexity that plays in a different league. Rum and raisin and dark chocolate on the nose, so much so that your neighbours will be knocking on your door.
What's the profile like? Chocolate, sultanas and cherries. Low acidity, high sweetness, velvety mouthfeel, big body, lingering aftertaste with chocolate liqueur notes.
How to enjoy it? although it's a fruit-forward coffee, thanks to it's flavour depth, chocolate notes and roasting style, it suits milk based drinks and black coffee alike. We recommend it for all brewing methods except V60, unless you like deep darker filter notes. It is roasted for espresso and immersion methods.

Velvety
Coffee is best stored in a cool and dark place, away from heat and sunlight. Ideally in an air-tight container such as an Air Scape canister.
Single Origin Guatemala - Natural Process
History & Intent
A coffee that stands out for being different
We brought this coffee in so you can enjoy something radically different but equally as good. The depth and complexity of this coffee, mixed with the fruity and boozy characteristics, makes it something worth experimenting with. Although it might not turn into your daily go-to, it's a coffee that will stretch you senses and challenge you to get out of that comfort zone that our blends have been offering for many years.
How long will it be available for? this is hard to say, but it may only last a couple of months. After that we will move on to the next super limited edition single origin.
Sourcing & Components
Natural Process
Once picked at the peak of ripeness, the coffee cherries are dried whole in the sun. This traditional process infuses the coffee bean with its fruity and sweet characteristics.
Roasting Philosophy & Brewing Tips
Espresso and Immersion
This is a bold Medium leaning towards dark Roast accentuates the big body and dark chocolate flavours. The roast is stopped right before that roast flavour develops, preserving the sweetness and maintaining a pleasant aftertaste.
Espresso & Stovetop: we recommend not grinding too fine as this coffee is already highly soluble. If you are used to our medium roasts, you could leave the setting where they are or grin slightly coarser. It will benefit from a shorter extraction to accentuate the sweetness and avoid bitterness. Because the acidity is low, shorter extractions will taste vibrant and deep without the sharpness.
Filter (Pour-Over): We only recommend this coffee for filter if you like the deep dark notes that we describe above. For pour over methods we recommend lighter roasts with more delicate flavour profiles.
Immersion - Plunger (French Press): Don't be afraid of grinding slightly finer and steeping for shorter times.
Remember this coffee is highly soluble, so extracting it is very easy, benefiting from faster and shorter brews. The intensity will be there.
Enjoy!
